From your first listing to a completed settlement
Every deal on Escrow.International, whether a straightforward sale, a direct exchange or a multi-party chain, moves through the same sixteen steps. Nothing skips a required compliance gate, and every step is recorded.
Set up and verify
Before anything is public, we confirm who you are and what you own.
- 1
Register and accept the required terms
Create your account and accept the marketplace rules and the terms that apply to your role: buyer, seller, exchanger or professional.
- 2
Complete identity or business verification
Individuals complete identity (KYC) verification; companies and organizations complete business (KYB) verification, including beneficial ownership where required.
- 3
Create your asset and listing
Describe the property, land or business precisely: location, ownership structure, specifications and any encumbrances, before it can be published.
- 4
Upload ownership and evidence documents
Registry extracts, deeds, corporate documents or other ownership evidence are uploaded under document-level access permissions.
- 5
Define your desired outcome
State whether you want to sell, buy or exchange, your target countries and asset types, an indicative value band and your timing.
Discover and negotiate
Once published, your listing can find, and be found by, the right counterparty.
- 6
Search and matching
Browse the marketplace or let matching surface counterparties by asset type, geography, value band, desired counter-asset and verification strength.
- 7
Secure messaging
Message a counterparty through the platform once you've found a fit, without exchanging personal contact details up front.
- 8
Offer and counteroffer
Submit an offer, including any balancing payment for an exchange, and negotiate through recorded counteroffers until both sides agree.
- 9
Open the deal room
An accepted offer creates a shared deal room with every party, the agreed structure, and a live status header.
Diligence and compliance
The professionals and checks a cross-border deal actually needs, coordinated in one place.
- 10
Assign professionals
Invite lawyers, notaries, brokers, valuers or tax advisers into the deal room: verified professionals with a visible track record.
- 11
Valuation and due diligence
An independent valuation and structured due diligence review title, encumbrances, corporate structure and any disclosed risks.
- 12
Compliance and legal gates
Sanctions and PEP screening, jurisdiction rule checks and any other required gate must clear before the deal can advance. This is enforced automatically, not by a checklist.
- 13
Contract and signing
Contracting and signing follow the document and workflow requirements of the jurisdictions involved.
Settle and complete
Money and ownership move through licensed channels, with the platform recording status, not holding funds.
- 14
Settlement handoff
Once every gate is cleared, settlement is handed off to a licensed partner appropriate to the jurisdiction. The platform never takes custody of funds.
- 15
Registry and ownership transfer
Ownership or registry transfer milestones are tracked against the partner- and registry-reported status, not a self-reported claim.
- 16
Completion, fees and archive
The deal closes, applicable fees are settled, the full record is archived, and both sides can leave a verified review of the completed engagement.
